What We Build

Vesence is an AI agent platform for law firms within Microsoft Office. We review documents, emails, and projects directly in Word and Outlook, before your client sees them.

Technical Differentiation

Two things set us apart.

First, we've achieved technical breakthroughs in how agents interact within Word and Outlook. People at Microsoft couldn't believe Vesence was built inside the Microsoft Office environment.

Second, while most AI software focuses on generating content, we focus on reviewing, suggesting improvements, and fixing issues while keeping the lawyer in control.

Early Results

Our first firm-wide rollout reached 90% weekly active usage across all levels, from senior partners to junior associates. New pilot users report significantly better experiences compared to MS Copilot and similar tools.

Origin

The idea emerged from showing Cursor to a lawyer friend. The conversation revealed a gap: lawyers need agents that sanity-check work against firm best practices, style guides, formatting requirements, and connected documents, not "vibe drafting" or AI slop. We're building that rigor-focused tool for professional services.

What's Next

This funding supports three priorities: expanding our AI capabilities, growing our team with talent from Google, BCG X, and MIT, and scaling to more law firms.
